Sam Altman reportedly targeted in second attack
Sam Altman’s San Francisco home was the target of two separate threats in the span of a weekend. On April 10, a 20‑year‑old was arrested after allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at the Russian Hill residence; the investigation remains open. Two days later, police received a 2:56 AM call about possible gunfire, captured a vehicle’s license plate on surveillance, and arrested two occupants (25 and 23) who were charged with negligent discharge after a weapon was fired at the house. Officers seized three firearms during the arrest. San Francisco Police Chief Derrick Lew emphasized the department’s commitment to prosecuting gun‑related crimes.
